How to Livestream to YouTube

This is how to livestream to YouTube. YouTube live streaming is a great way to better interact with one’s audience. Aside from a high-speed Internet connection that is not congested with concurrent activity (family streaming Netflix, playing video games, downloading large files, etc.) below is the equipment that I use for my YouTube Live Shows (Epic Drone Show & IrixGuy’s Live Show).  I’ve learned from experience to avoid shiny objects and anything that is close to green in color.  It makes creating a more convincing green screen effect more easily doable.  Consistent lighting (no open windows or other sources that change lighting) is important too.  You can learn more about my green screening techniques within my green screen tutorial here.

I recommend painting a wall, if it’s an option. If not, this is a great pop-up green screen backdrop.
