This monitor is a high-quality LG IPS display with a 3840×2160 4K UltraHD resolution. More expensive models may come with USB-C but I simply purchased an inexpensive USB-C to DisplayPort cable to use in conjunction with my MacBook Pro. With the MacBook Pro closed, this makes an excellent stand-alone 27-inch display. With the MacBook Pro open, I can take advantage of the desktop real estate of both the MacBook Pro’s monitor and this monitor.
