I must confess that I was nervous about updating to the DJI Phantom 3 firmware version 1.3.20. That was due to the unfortunate reliability of the previous DJI Phantom 3 firmware version. This is how to enable the hardware decode setting for the Phantom 3. With a compatible smartphone or tablet, it may help to better improve Phantom 3 FPV quality. I use the iPhone 6 Plus in conjunction with the Phantom 3 Professional and it has been beneficial for me!

The gimbal protector that comes with the Phantom 3 Professional and Phantom 3 Advanced is transparent and easy to lose. It also does not provide lens protection and it's somewhat challenging to take on and off. Problem solved! Check out this brightly-colored Phantom 3 gimbal clamp/lens protector!
