Throughout the past few years, Rolex watches have become harder to find. If Rolex authorized dealers have Rolex watches in stock, they typically have zero Rolex sports watches. There are several theories surrounding the Rolex shortage but I feel that Trump is to blame for the recent Rolex watch shortage. Prior to Trump, Rolex authorized dealers were overflowing with Rolex watches, discounts could be negotiated and grey market watch sellers were selling Rolex at a significant discount. Today grey market sellers are selling Rolex watches for a significant premium over retail and the Rolex stores offer no discounts, if they happen to have Rolex watches in stock. I blame Trump’s strong economy for the Rolex shortage. People have jobs again and they are wanting to purchase Rolex stainless steel sports watches. What are your thoughts?
