Best Drone for Beginners

What is the best drone for beginners? I've been flying drones since DJI Phantom 1 and the controls of drones since Phantom 1 through present have remained somewhat the same. For a beginner, I would recommend a less expensive drone that behaves the same from a controls perspective as the larger and more expensive drones.
