Dripping Spring Mountain Summit

This is the view from the top of Dripping Spring Mountain. It's close to 5,000 feet in elevation and the view changes, depending upon weather conditions. I hiked from Elkmont via Jake's Creek Trail and then Miry Ridge Trail to reach the summit of Dripping Spring Mountain. #DrippingSpringMountain #SmokyMountains

Elkmont to Backcountry Campsite 26 Overnight – Smoky Mountains Backcountry Camping

The hike to Smoky Mountains Backcountry Campsite #26 was incredible. We parked at Elkmont and then hiked Jake's Creek Trail to Miry Ridge Trail. Elevation gain was 3,114 feet and we camped at approximately 4,600 feet. It was an incredible experience and the hike out was almost all downhill! #Campsite26 #Backpacking #SmokyMountains
