Why Watch Case Height Matters

Watch thickness is something that every watch buyer should consider. Watch height is something that often goes unnoticed. My best advice is to head to an authorized dealer and try on two watches of the same diameter that have radically different case heights. It’s amazing how two timepieces of the same size can wear radically different, due to case height. Also, a watch with more case thickness is tougher to tuck underneath a dress shirt and blazer. I typically wear wristwatches with greater case height for recreation and thinner watches for dress. Although not ultra-think like many dress watches, the Rolex Submariner and Tudor Black Bay are two excellent timepiece examples that are well-suited for formal occasions or play! #TimepiecesForTomorrow #Timepieces #Watches
