This is an honest Tablo review. I switched to Tablo because my previous over-the-air solution was discontinued. This is my review after using Tablo for over a week. Tablo is incredible and being able to connect a variety of devices to Tablo (iPhone, iPad, FireStick, Apple TV, etc.) to Tablo to watch free over-the-air HDTV channels is super convenient. If you’re old school or have ever subscribed to a traditional satellite TV or cable TV services, Tablo’s channel guide will likely look very familiar. Tablo has built-in DVR functionality, so pausing, rewinding, scheduling recordings of shows or series, etc. is super simple. Tablo comes with sufficient built-in storage but an external hard drive like I use can be optionally attached to provide even more space for recordings. Tablo is antenna-agnostic, so some people may pick up an abundance of free over-the-air antenna that is placed in an attic or a window. However, for people that may wish to pick up DTV towers that are far away, Tablo can also connect to long-range antennas like the one that I use. Tablo can be hard-wired to a network (I suggest that) or communicate via WiFi. Even with my Tablo hard-wired to my WiFi network, all of my devices that I use to connect to Tablo and watch free over-the-air HDTV channels are using WiFi. Tablo is a very user-friendly and affordable solution. Best of all, after the Tablo, antenna and associated equipment are paid for, there is excellent return on investment. Not having to pay for a costly cable TV or satellite TV subscription is an excellent way to save money. I watch all of my local channels for news and sports using Tablo and leverage optional subscriptions to streaming services for premium content. My monthly spend for watching television is now minimal and there are currently no subscriptions fees required to watch free over-the-air TV channels using Tablo! #Tablo #Review #CordCutting #HDTV
