The reality is that most any Rolex authorized dealer or Rolex boutique will have few, if any, Rolex watches available for purchase. This leads to Rolex waiting lists and even with a waiting list, some core reference Rolex wristwatches like the Daytona are impossible to obtain. This has forced a lot of people to purchase Rolex on the grey market above retail.
