I have always always wanted to summit Mt. LeConte. It's not only an excellent workout but it's concurrently an opportunity to add a "dot on one's personal resume. All campsites in the Smoky Mountains National Park are by reservation only. Campsite 37 is an awesome campsite that is an easy hike from the trailhead. The hike provides a variety of terrain and awesome views of Big River. If multiple people have booked campsite 37, there are plenty of fire rings and bear pulley
