This is how to configure fast and reliable home WiFi. Many people nowadays use a variety of WiFi-connected devices (iPhones, iPads, laptops, televisions, video games consoles, etc.) but fail to configure a home WiFi solution that is reliable and fast. Within this video, I explain step-by-step how I configured my home WiFi solution that has no dead spots, is fast and is reliable. The most important aspect of my home WiFi setup is that I use wired back-haul. In other words, my broadband modem (Xfinity Internet in my case) is connected to a network switch and all of my WiFi access points are also hard-wired to the same network switch. This ensures that all of my WiFi access points provide the fastest and most reliable performance possible. Many people purchase WiFi range extenders, etc. but that provides poor WiFi performance. With my WiFi setup, regardless of where I am within my residence, my wireless devices achieve the same performance regardless of which wireless access point the device is connected to. With a poorly-configured WiFi network without wired back-haul, WiFi performance will be unpredictable and slow. I hope that this video helps you to configure a rock-solid WiFi solution for your home! #Howto #WiFi #Wireless
